Alzheimers organisation – make dementia a priority – the dementia promise

We’ve had a fantastic response to Shelagh’s petition calling for people to be better supported after a dementia diagnosis. Over 60,000 of you have taken action and signed the petition – thank you.

There’s an election coming, and we want the new government to make dementia a priority, so in March we will be going to parliament, with Shelagh, to deliver her petition.

We want to talk to politicians face-to-face. We want them to pledge to use their power to challenge the status quo, to improve the situation for people who have been affected by dementia. But, as always, we need your help. We need you to email your MPs and ask them to meet with us when we’re at Westminster.

Take action: Email your MP to invite them along >

Taking action is really easy. Just click the button above, and we’ll walk you through it step-by-step. The more of you that email your MPs, the more likely it is that MPs will want to come and talk to us, and it’s vital that they do.

If you want to find out more about the our election manifesto, the dementia promise, you can do that here: https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/GeneralElection2015

Thank you for your support, we’ll keep you posted.
