THE BOARD

Ultimate responsibility for WFHA lies with the Board. We have three sub-committees: the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee; the Human Resources, Remuneration & Governance Committee and the Task and Finish Group.

The Board consists of a group of people with a wide range of skills, who all have an interest in social housing.

Chair


Dale is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 35 years’ experience in property development, regeneration and asset management.  He has lived and worked in east London for many years and has a special connection with Waltham Forest having been involved in major regeneration projects across the borough.

Josie is a skilled and experienced finance professional who is currently Chief Executive at Local Space. In addition to finance skills, Josie brings expertise in a range of areas including:

Tyron Julien

Tyron is currently Assistant Director of Services for the Single Homeless Project.
Tyron brings expertise in a range of areas, including services for vulnerable people, tenancy sustainment and leading on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Tyron has been elected the Member Responsible for Complaints (MRC).

Board Declarations of Interest

WFHA is committed to openness and transparency, and as part of our commitment we collate, on at least an annual basis, potential and actual conflicts of interest of Board Members, our Executive and staff team.
In accordance with the National Housing Federation’s Code of Governance 2020, we publish our declaration of interest register for all Board Members annually.
In addition to this annual process, we require Board Members to declare any conflicts of interest at the commencement of each meeting and to submit a new declaration in the event their potential or actual conflicts change.
