WFHA are supporting dementia awareness week – 14th to 21st may 2017

WFHA are celebrating Dementia Awareness Week, with a series of events we will be attending events in the local community and holding our own events in our Sheltered Schemes.
The Sunshine Club will be holding a Dementia Friends session in partnership with the Alzheimer’s society, after this session we will have a reminiscence afternoon – this will take place on the 19th May – details will be confirmed
All tenants will be invited to attend an event in Walthamstow and Chingford delivered by the Alzheimer’s society – dates will be confirmed
WFHA’s Head office and Sheltered Schemes will display information and guidance, for anyone living with dementia and for families and carers
Staff will attend a Dementia Friends session to ensure we all are trained in this important area of our work.
